Emma WalsheCharlotte “Emma” Walshe, MS, LPC

Emma is a Licensed Professional Counselor and received her degree in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University. Emma has worked in organizational psychology, workplace well-being, trauma response and providing individual/couples counseling both in the US and internationally for over 15 years. She understands  the need for work and home life to flourish and specializes in addressing the stressors that are created by a lack of balance between the two.

Focus populations are business professionals, those with careers in academia and medical professionals. She is highly experienced in working with health professional burnout, first responders, trauma, vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue and grief/loss. Emma finds joy in helping those who have questions, doubt or uncertainty about their lives navigateforward and create real change in how they feel and live.

With couples work Emma provides counseling to those starting their relationship path, the ready to commit and those who have been walking life together for decades; working with heterosexual or same sex partnerships. With a firm belief in the ability for couples to learn to navigate the areas of tension in their lives and become stronger than imagined; she finds couples work full of vitality and immensely rewarding.

Emma has a subspecialty in medical/ health professional relationships and the unique challenges and rewards that these couples can have. Counseling is tailored to the individual(s) and to desired areas of change and growth.
