Join us for a therapist facilitated support group for teens – to discuss and explore personal challenges in an open, welcoming format among a group of peers. A group setting offers a safe place to discuss issues such as:

  • bullying
  • depression
  • anxiety
  • relationship issues
  • dating
  • self esteem
  • body image
  • self harm
  • family conflicts
  • expectations
  • etc.
Participants will build coping techniques to help them to successfully navigate these challenges.

Group meets weekly from October 17 – December 19, 2019

Age Range: Girls ages 13-17.

Your Workshop Facilitator:

Erica McNeely, LMSW is the Director of Teen Services at the Relationship Institute.  She also works with adults and has expertise in working with couples who participate in The Lifestyle.
Erica’s mission is to treat each person with compassion, kindness and respect. Her therapy style is integrative and eclectic and she works to meet each client where they are in their journey while helping to motivate and encourage positive change and personal growth. Erica’s client-centered approach to therapy includes a broad range of techniques, such as psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and supportive therapies. She is passionate about helping people to re-discover their strengths in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
Erica specializes in working with adolescents, individuals with chronic illness (including cancer), anxiety and depression, life transitions and wellness coaching, self-esteem issues, substance abuse, and couples. She encourages clients to explore therapy to provide opportunity for growth and healing.
