It can be difficult to make sense of and find meaning in our life experiences. Therapy provides a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings to better understand and find solutions to life situations. Struggles with relationships, life stress, fear, and self-judgment of not being ‘good enough’ can hold you back from living authentically and to your full potential. My goal as a therapist is to help you feel safe and open to deeper self-exploration and growth. My approach is client-centered, which means you remain in the driver’s seat at all times. The therapeutic process is a journey that clients and therapists embark on together.

Therapy is not “one size fits all.” I use a combination of approaches to personally suit the individual or couple that I am working with. Humanistic, Existential, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, Interpersonal, and CBT are a few of the modalities I use. While doing several years of my own therapeutic work, I understand the depths of therapy and how empowering it is to live authentically. As a therapist, I work flexibly to meet my client’s needs while assisting them in exploring alternative points of view and identifying and adjusting problematic patterns.

People say I am present, genuine, accepting, insightful, playful, and real. I truly care about each of my clients and the concerns they bring to therapy. I provide a safe environment in which to explore the deeper issues. I find this work infinitely creative, rich, and rewarding.

I work with individuals and couples. I also have expertise working with gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals (age 14+).
