Erica McNeely, LMSW 

Erica received her Bachelors of Arts in psychology from Michigan State University, and her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Michigan. Erica is a fully Licensed Social Worker in the state of Michigan. She previously worked as the Program Director at Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit, providing psychosocial support to cancer patients and their families.
Erica is the Director of Teen Services at the Relationship Institute.  She also works with adults and couples. In her couples’ work, Erica has expertise in working with couples who participate in The Lifestyle, as well as Polyamory couples.

Erica’s mission is to treat each person with compassion, kindness and respect. Her therapy style is integrative and eclectic and she works to meet each client where they are in their journey while helping to motivate and encourage positive change and personal growth. Erica’s solution-focused approach to therapy includes a broad range of techniques, such as cognitive behavioral, and supportive therapies. She is passionate about helping people to re-discover their strengths in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

Erica specializes in working with adolescents, individuals with chronic illness (including cancer), anxiety and depression, life transitions and wellness coaching, self-esteem issues, substance abuse, and couples. She encourages clients to explore therapy to provide opportunity for growth and healing.
